Rancho Rowdiness

Okay so day 2 & 3 have been such a whirlwind....I don't think any amount of school can do TBI patients justice until you experience first hand what it's like to be cursed at, flicked off and swung at by your patients. The staff have called this week "baptism by fire" for me this week. AWESOME! but for real, it makes it all worth it when you have a family member pull you to the side and thank you for what you are doing. One mom came to me earlier this week in tears and shock (son suffered TBI this weekend) and just exuded gratefulness for something as simple as getting her son to sit at the edge of bed and providing her education on how to help with him. Such a gift to do what we do! Hope y'all are doing great...good luck finishing out the week :)

p.s. if you know how others can post on the blog- not just comment....let me know! If not- no worries, please still post and keep us updated with life and FW

  1. hey girl!! I love this and that you are enjoying yourself out in the great state of Utah. Are you pulling for the girl from Utah on the Bachelor??

    SVU...tonight. Missing you. Enough said.

I don't know how to let others blog without them signing into the account but I can try to find a way. If not, peeps can just make their own blog and we can all creep on each other :) You may find mine here...http://davidsonsteph.blogspot.com/

My only update thus far...orientation is boring but great because I get to leave early. And I made friends to eat lunch with in the cafeteria. :)

    Have a great day tomorrow!!
